CONGRESS – CONSTITUENT
SERVICES
CONSTITUENT SERVICES OFFERED BY
MEMBERS OF CONGRESS
United States Senators and
Representatives offer Constituent Services for
the people they represent in Congress. Casework
staff located at home district offices of
Congress members provide services such as
contacting federal agencies for problems with
immigration, passports, Social Security or
veterans benefits, assistance with military
academy applications, providing information on
obtaining federal grants and arranging tours of
the U.S. Capitol and White House. However,
congressional offices cannot help with matters
that involve state agencies or the judicial
system. Further information can be found at the
websites of Connecticut’s U.S. Senators and
Representatives listed below.
