WHAT IS A FOOD CO-OP?

A food co-op is an organization that seeks to obtain food at a low cost for its members. Sometimes the cost involves volunteer service to the co-op or for the larger community.

ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES

  • Angel Food Ministries is a faith-based, non-denominational organization providing food relief and financial support throughout the United States.
  • Angel Food's food distribution program provides a quantity of food that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. The retail value of the food is estimated to be from $42-$78. Other specialty boxes, such as meat packages or produce packages may also be purchased.
  • There is no limit to the number of units or bonus foods an individual can receive.
  • Angel Food accepts SNAP/food stamps.
